FINAL PROFESSION IN KILRUSH : Sr. Bernie O'Grady will make her Final Profession as a Sister of Mercy on Sunday, August 31 st at 2.30 at St. Senan's Church. This will be a public ceremony and all are invited. Tea and refreshments will be served in the local hall afterwards. CHRISTCHURCH , SPANISH POINT : We would like to say a big thank you to all who came and supported our recent barbecue. Thanks, too, to all who contributed donations and prizes for the raffle. It was so good to share this event with the GAA Committee who are raising funds to build a stand in the Hennessy Memorial Park . You have enabled us to have a Church Hall and this has given a new life and impetus to our membership. We now hope that the much needed spectator stand will be achieved in the shortest possible time. We are pleased to hand over €1,800 share of the proceeds to the GAA Committee. We look forward to working together in the future.
