REMEMBRANCE : Our prayers are asked for the repose of the Souls of Catherine (Kitty) Keane, née Hogan formerly of Miltown Malbay who died recently in Kildare and Joseph Queally, Glendine who died last week-end.
PRIESTS' COLLECTION : The Summer Collection for the Priests of the Parish is being taken up this week-end.
21 st ANNUAL TOWN & COUNTRY FAIR will be held this Sunday (1 st Aug.) in Clonbony GAA Grounds at 12 o'clock.

TG4 PROGRAMME : On next Thursday night – August 5 th – at 8.30 p.m. on TG4 a programme Féilte (Festivals) will be broadcast. This programme was filmed in West Clare a fortnight ago and several local musicians from the Miltown Malbay area were part of it. It will highlight among other things some footage about this year's Willie Clancy School .

THE OLD KILFARBOY SOCIETY : This Sunday, 1 st August, The Old Kilfarboy Society has organised a guided walk to Booley na Gréine Lake , on the southern side of Mount Callan , which was the traditional assembly place for the Festival of Lughnasa on Garland Sunday. It will visit the wedge-shaped megalithic tomb, known locally as Leaba Diarmuida agus Gráinne and the flagstone with Ogham writing. LADIES MEET & TRAIN in association with Clare Sports Partnership will commence on Thursday 5 th August at 8.30 p.m. in Mullagh Sports Field for 8 weeks. All ladies welcome.
